Dear Rosemont Families, Teachers, and Staff,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Rosemont ESD #78! I trust you've had a restful and enjoyable summer break.
Rosemont School continues to be an exceptional place to learn and grow. To our new members, welcome to Illinois' most tight-knit and student-centered school district, where every Cobra finds the resources and support they need. To our returning community, welcome back!
As Superintendent, I share in the excitement that comes with the start of a new academic year. Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, or staff member, we're all part of the Rosemont School Family, united in our anticipation of new learning and experiences.
The safety of our students, faculty, and staff remains our top priority. We continue to collaborate closely with Rosemont Public Safety and school safety specialists to ensure a secure environment for current and future Cobras.
Our goal is to provide a rigorous and positive educational experience for all students. This year, we've implemented a comprehensive professional development program for our educators. The School Improvement Team is working with administration to deliver valuable training on Institute Days, SIP Days, and during/after school hours. We're also thrilled to introduce Mrs. Maltais as our first-ever Instructional Coach, supporting all Rosemont Teachers. We firmly believe that when adults continue to learn and grow, our students reap the benefits.
I'm eager to embark on this new year and deeply appreciate your dedication to our District, our community, and the students and families we serve.
Wishing everyone a fantastic first day and a productive school year ahead.
Respectfully,
John K Jonak
