May 24, 2024
Dear Parents and Students,
These past few weeks have been filled with many celebrations such as Teacher Appreciation Week, award assemblies, Finale Day, to our Rosemont School graduation ceremonies. While this is always a busy month, there have been so many activities and culminating events to end the year on a high note for students.
As we prepare for next year, please remember that students and parents can get involved in our school district in many ways. Please look for the Cobra Correspondence from Principal Schaul, emails teachers and the school office, the District's website, and our social media channels to see what opportunities exist.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
We will have four school improvement planning, or SIP days, next year in which K-8 students will be released at 11:30 a.m. so teachers will work on our school improvement process. On these days, there will not be AM or PM preschool classes.
SIP Days are: 9/11/24, 1/29/25, 3/5/25, and 4/30/25.
As we conclude the 2023-2024 school year, I want to express my gratitude for the support and engagement you have shown our schools. Your feedback, both positive and constructive, is invaluable in our continuous efforts to improve.
As we head into Memorial Day Weekend, I wish you peace and comfort if you observe and honor fallen friends or family. I am deeply appreciative of all the support our teachers, support staff, and administration receive from you as parents and students. I hope to see you at the Rosemont Village Picnic on July 14th. Take care, and have a wonderful summer!
Respectfully,
John K. Jonak
Superintendent
