The core of the math program is Big Ideas Math.The foundation of the program is the Common Core Standards for Mathematical Content and Standards for Mathematical Practice. Student textbooks are on eReader format. Students can access their book from any computer with Internet access.
IXL Math will be used as a Common Core Standards supplemental platform to enhance the lessons taught within the classroom. Each week 6-8 skills will be assigned along with practice effort minutes. A score of 80 or higher must be obtained to earn credit for each skill. The number of skills and minutes can be found on Google Classroom each week.
