Lil' Leydenettes Clinic 2017

Volunteers Needed - Launch Into Literature Program

We are looking for parent volunteers to lead our Launch Into Literature Program for our 1st and 2nd grade students.  This would entail reading a story and working with the students on an activity and writing piece.  There will be four sessions.  February 3 & 10, and March 3 & 10 during school from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.   Click here for the announcement flyer and volunteer sign up form.

Jump Rope for Heart

Our students are excited to be participating in the Jump Rope for Heart Program to raise money for the American Heart Association.  Students will be raising money through February 10th, and then will be jumping rope all day during physical education class on the 10th.   Click here for instructions on how to register online .  Students also earn fun thank you gift prizes, and the top three fundraisers will get to "pie . . .

Spelling Bee - Please Join Us

January 19th

Grandparents Day - January 30th

Our primary students (preschool-grade 2) are so excited to have their grandparents come to school on January 30th for a special morning of songs and activities.  Grandparents Day, which is also the 100th day of school, is a fun celebration and opportunity for grandparents to learn about all of the great things their grandchildren are learning in school, hear some special songs being sung, and visit the classroom.   Click here . . .

Preschool Screening for the 2017-18 School Year

If you have a child who will be 4 years old by September 1, 2017, or know of someone within Rosemont School District 78 who does, please contact the school at 847-825-0144 to schedule an appointment for our Preschool Screening.  The screening is taking place on March 3, 2017.  Appointments are being scheduled now.  All children planning to attend our preschool program should participate in the screening.

Polar Heart Rate Monitors in PE Class

Thanks Benefit Club!

The Rosemont School Benefit Club purchased the physical education department brand new Polar Heart Rate Monitors to use during class.  This is thanks to all of you who have supported our school benefit club fundraisers throughout the year!  These heart rate monitors will be used by 4th through 8th grade students, and will transfer heart rate information via bluetooth connection from our students to various devices while . . .
